“We couldn’t be more excited to spread the legendary wood-fired flavor of Cowboy Chicken to more parts of California,” said Kevin Roche, store owner, in the release.
“The grand opening celebration is Cowboy Chicken’s way of introducing our mouthwatering menu and community spirit to the people of Fresno; we’re very grateful to be a new addition to the San Joaquin Valley,” he said.
Texacal Foods owners and operations partners Roche and Phil Fontes teamed with Cal Capitol Investment Group’s Daniel and Doug Shaffer to launch the location.
The first 100 guests when the restaurant opens will receive a limited design cup that gives access to free tea for a year.
All Cowboy Chicken locations are taking guests back to 1981 — the year the restaurant first opened — with original pricing for the entire day on Oct. 16 (dine-in only).
